For Spring Summer 2018 Stine Goya celebrates its 10 year anniversary with a collection that excitedly looks forward whilst at the same time references the past. Archival elements evoke memories that draw you into flashbacks and show present and future elements of Stine Goya
The colour palette is celebratory with highlights of luminous blue, emerald green and fuchsia pink adding freshness to Stine Goya’s trademark base of soft peach, orchid pink and amber gold.
Prints, as always, are centre-stage with new hand-painted designs such as Marionettes, Peaches and Magic but the archives have also been explored and iconic prints from seasons past like Air Balloon and Mirror are reinterpreted
New fabrics continue to push the collection forward, adding variety to the always feminine silhouettes. Exiting materials are used to offer a wide range of textures to be mixed and contrasted: From supple suede and refined silks to shiny carnation brocade and graphic striped knits.
One fabric has its own secret story with the lyrics of an old show tune woven into the surface whilst another is scattered with gold moons and stars.
The mix of the past and the future is key to the collection with Stine Goya classics such as kimonos and floaty ultra-feminine dresses being presented alongside new more structured styles such as classic shirts, ftted dresses and suiting.
The shoe collection, with sandals and both fat and heeled boots, incorporates key fabrics and textures from the clothes: pink suede, brocades, glitter and gold studs add a playful and bold footnote to the outfits.
It has been an amazing ten years and Stine Goya is proud to take the wearer on a journey through memories of past collections.
Spring Summer 2018 builds on the brand’s expertise with playfully artistic prints and colours, and gives them relevance by incorporating a new more elegant tailored ft that further widens the collections from Stine Goya.
